(1) CAP Online with University of Hawai’i

Participants will attend live lectures, discussion forums and project research sessions online.
The Lecturers of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa provide unique topics related to common problems faced by countries in the Asia Pacific region.

(1) Campus Japan

Students will attend special lectures, perform internships, gain cultural experience, and engage in fieldwork with Korean university students in Fukuoka

Location: Kyushu University and Seinan Gakuin University, Fukuoka
Period: February 14 (Wed) to 21 (Wed), 2018

(2) Campus Korea

Students will attend special lectures, visit companies, gain cultural experience, and engage in fieldwork with Korean university students in Seoul, Korea.

Location: Seoul National University, Seoul
Period: February 21 (Wed) to 28 (Wed), 2018
* The aforementioned two-week program will be offered as a general subject entitled “What is the Common Challenges of the East Asian Societies? III (intensive course)”, with college credit awarded.

(3) Language Class (English and Korean)

* Details of the class will be provided only to those who have passed.

(1) Campus Hawaii(Second-Year Summer Program)

In Hawaii, Japanese and Korean students will attend special English classes and perform fieldwork together, while Japanese, Korean, and American students will form tri-national mixed research teams and discuss issues pertaining to East Asia.

Period: August 9 (Wed) to 27 (Wed), 2017 (3 weeks)
* The aforementioned three-week program will be offered as a first-term general subject entitled “The Future of East Asia under Globalization” (intensive course). An overall evaluation of preparatory studies, English Mastering Class, Orientation, etc., will be made and 2 credits will be given.

(2) Language Class (English)

* Details of the class will be provided only to those who have passed.

(3) Preparatory studies

Period: June to July, 2017

Number of classes: 8

*This preparatory studies will be offered as a general subject entitled ‘Understanding Global Agendas’. An overall evaluation will be made and 1 credit will be given.
