RCKS organizes and analyzes the historical documents related to Korean peninsula collected by Kyushu University in collaborations with related departments; Kyushu University Archives; Kyushu University Library Research and Development Division; Department of Korean History in Faculty of Humanities; Kyushu University Forest.

In order to enhance the mutual sharing of the historical documents, RCKS also carries out the international cooperative projects in collaborations with Korean academic institutions, especially with Seoul National University Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies, the Academy of Korean Studies Jangseogak Archives and the National Institute of Korean History.
